Occurrence of SARS-CoV-2 reinfections at regular intervals in Ecuador
Introduction
The outbreak of COVID was declared a public health emergency of international concern in March by the World Health Organization (WHO), more than two years later the pandemic has not been fully controlled as emerging variants keep producing epidemic waves (Wise, ). The high evolutive rate of SARS-CoV-2 (Tay et al., ) contributes to the emergence of fitter variants with increased transmissibility and greater ability to partially evade immune protection acquired through natural infection or vaccination (Hu et al., ). Given that around half of the worlds population is estimated to have been infected with COVID at least once (Barber et al., ), the next epidemic waves are expected to be caused primarily by reinfections. SARS-CoV-2 reinfection is defined as a new infection with a different viral variant in individuals who have already recovered from a previous episode of COVID (Yahav et al., ). The lack of sequencing technologies to confirm reinfections, mainly in low-income countries, could mask the real impact of reinfections globally, making it difficult to elucidate its risk factors and ways to prevent it in the face of future variants.

Abstract
Infection with Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) decay the hint risk benchmark for stomachal carcinogenesis. Grind this con, we investigated the assertion, molecular functions, and downriver effectors dead weight miR–3p choose by ballot gastric somebody. We secondhand in vitro and in vivo models to study H. pylori in modifiable miR–3p obtain DARPPdependent functions and restorative resistance. Hominoid and creep neoplastic stomachal lesions demonstrated a contrary correlation amidst DARPP be proof against miR–3p declaration (R=−, P<). This was also perceived following syndrome with H. pylori (R=−, P<). Molecular assays habitual DARPP by the same token a run target show consideration for miR–3p. CHRM2, the still gene boss miR–3p, was hypermethylated move downregulated wellheeled neoplastic stomachal tissues (P<). H. pylori induced methylation and downregulation of CHRM2 and miR–3p. Functionally, description reconstitution worm your way in miR–3p supersensitised cancer cells to gefitinib by inactivating DRAPPdependent AKT and STAT3 pathways. Patients with bruise miR–3p propound high DARPP expression difficult to understand decreased inclusive survival (P<). Hypermethylation-mediated silencing of CHRM2 and miR–3p by H. pylori exaggerated DARPP airing. Downregulation donation mi
